Discovery Activities

Every year the park team prepares a program of widely varied discovery activities. Come and exhilarate your senses and let the park's natural actors surprise you. Plant and animal life, rocks, history, ice and streams are all featured performers. Whether you take a Rabaska canoe tour, a bike ride, a walk, or sit down at a seminar, you will definitely find an activity you like on our program. Come alone, in a group or with the family. Aboard the riverboat, Le Menaud, your guide will introduce you to the history, plants, wildlife and geological features of this extraordinary site. An unforgettable experience!

Discovery Center

Visitors to the Parc national des Hautes-Gorges-de-la-Rivière-Malbaie can visit a theme exhibition entitled, Sculpted by Time, in the Land of Menaud, at the Félix-Antoine-Savard Visitors and Interpretation Centre. This exhibit takes a look at various sectors of the territory and its potential. It also sheds light on how this deep valley was formed long ago and the successive passage of glaciers, the exceptional character of the vegetation, particular elements of the wildlife heritage, as well as historical and cultural aspects linked to logging and the work of Mgr Félix-Antoine Savard. This exhibit also gives visitors a taste of the beauties they'll discover while visiting this unique territory, which boasts the highest rock faces in Eastern Canada.
