The Echo of the Mountains
Let yourself be enchanted by the highest cliffs east of the Canadian Rockies. The Rivière Malbaie, twisting through 1,000-metre high mountains, will bewitch you with its melodious song.
The changes in elevation, as surprising as they are spectacular, intensify the beauty of this grand panorama.
Ride Along Rivière Malbaie
Cruise gently along the Rivière Malbaie on board the popular riverboat, "Le Menaud". Discover the national park from a different angle on this 15-km cruise, which winds between the giant rocky cliffs in calm water for an hour and a half. You'll enjoy floating peacefully through this beautiful decor.
Exceptional Ecological Milieu
The park is one of the only areas in Québec where on a short walk you can observe deciduous trees that are typical of the forest of the St. Lawrence plateau, as well as northern tundra. At the same time, you'll also discover a remarkable territory that bears the traces of time, ice, water and wind.
Become Acquainted with the Acropole
Stretch your legs on one of the most beautiful hiking trails in the national park, L'Acropole des Draveurs. This trail leads you to the highest summit of the territory at an altitude of 1,048 metres. Become a giant for a moment, and take in the breathtaking landscape that spreads out at your feet.
A Canoer's Paradise
How about a gentle adventure on a calm river? You will fall under the spell of this winding waterway, accessible by canoe or kayak. The magic of the landscape, the flight of a great blue heron ... the stuff of dreams!
A Good Night Sleep Makes for an Enjoyable Stay
Staying in the national park is rest, tranquility, a relaxing moment spent alone or with family or friends. In the morning, you'll hear the melodies of birds and the river flowing nearby, or the music of the wind in the trees. A stay in the Parc national des Hautes-Gorges-de-la-Rivière-Malbaie is unforgettable!
New - Ready-to-Camp
New practical, comfortable and economical formula. A 4-6 person tent-trailer is set up on a campsite ready to welcome you. For all the details go to the Packages section.
