Fishing Paradise
The reputation of Parc national des Grands-Jardins as an exceptional fishing territory goes way back. The renowned Murray River Fishing Club, also called Club La Roche, was already welcoming a wealthy clientele in 1895. Lake fishing with cabin accommodations or day fishing with waders in the river…Parc national des Grands-Jardins has so much to offer.
A Rugged Landscape
Get the ultimate reward. Atop the 980-metre high Mont du Lac-des-Cygnes, you'll be amazed by its rugged relief and diversity of plant and animal life. Identified as the patrimonial treasure most representative of the Charlevoix region, this mountain's reliefs accentuate the contrast of colours and textures.
In the Depths of the Forest
The depths of the forest hold several kinds of ecosystems. On the same territory, you'll find deciduous forests and alpine vegetation such as taiga. This Arctic vegetation is home to species representative of northern regions, notably moose, bears, wolves, caribou and lynx. As a result of forest fires in the past years, a very specific bird population visits park territory, one of which is the black-backed woodpecker. But be on the lookout, or else our main characters might award you with a prize
you won't soon forget!
Breathe in the Fresh Air
Come and breathe the fresh air of our mountains while enjoying one of the many activities we offer. Take a front row seat in a canoe or kayak and discover the limpid waters of Arthabaska or Turgeon lakes. Mountain biking buffs can revel in their favourite sport on the park’s roads. While exploring the park, you’ll discover a multitude of different landscapes, and after an exciting day, our cabins and campgrounds offer a sensational setting for relaxation.
