Cabins
Summer and Fall
After a day full of activities with family or friends, enjoy the intimacy and comfort of one of the 8 Southern Sector vacation cabins. These waterfront cottages, which sleep from 2 to 12 people, have an unobstructed view of the lake. All of the cabins have a stove, fridge, kitchen equipment and a propane heating system.
Important: Rowboats for excursions are included with cabin rentals. Personal canoes and kayaks are allowed. Customers can also rent canoes for Lac des Îles, Lac à la Barbue and Grand lac Saint-François (Baie Sauvage and Baie aux Rats Musqués).
Period: From mid-May to mid-October
Winter
Come and recharge your batteries and take advantage of one of two peaceful cabins accessible on snowshoes or backcountry skis. Located 4 km from the parking lots, the Cyr 1 (2 pers.) and Cyr 2 (4 pers.) cabins invite you for beautiful winter evenings by the fire. In the winter, the cabins have a woodstove, propane lighting and heating, and an outdoor pit toilet. The fridge and running water are not functional. Bottled water is provided. A baggage transportation service is available upon reservation (additional fee).
Period: From mid-December to the end of March

Rustic Shelters
Summer, Fall and Winter
La Tanière rustic shelter is located by Lac des Ours. This 2-person unit provides access to the lake and is equipped with a woodstove and an outdoor pit toilet. Drinking water is not provided. In the winter, you can reach the shelter on snowshoes or backcountry skis from the Southern Sector Information Kiosk located 4 km away. Baggage transportation service is available upon reservation (additional fee). Period: From mid-May to mid-October and from mid-December to the end of March

Serviced campground
Camping enthusiasts have it good at Parc national de Frontenac! The Saint-Daniel sector offers 96 campsites, 18 of which have 2 services (water and electricity), that combine a quality natural environment and proximity to service and recreation areas. All of the campsites are spacious, intimate and located in wooded areas; some are near the water.
There is a 109-site campground in the southern sector of the park. It is located near Baie Sauvage and offers 45 1-service sites (electricity), 26 2-service sites (water, electricity) and 38 semi-serviced sites.

Two Ready-to-Camp Formulas (Tent Trailer and Huttopia Tent)
Did you like last’s summer’s ready-to-camp formula with a tent trailer? It’s back again this summer, along with its French cousin, the Huttopia tent, which includes a wooden platform, canvas walls and ceiling, two bedrooms separated by a curtain, and a living room, fully furnished camping style. All of the ready-to-camps offer full comfort in the heart of nature! The tent trailers sleeps 6 people and the Huttopia tent sleeps 5 (max. 4 adults in both cases). Detailed chart
Canoe-Camping
Come and try canoe-camping and enjoy one of 31 Southern Sector campsites on the shore of Grand lac Saint-François, Lac des Îles and Lac à la Barbue. A canoe-camping package including canoe rental is available. A 6-site campground (L’Ours #1) is available for groups. The sites are accessible by canoe and kayak. No rowboats or motor boats allowed.

Primitive Camping – Lac Égan
Located in the Southern Sector and accessible from Les Vallons hiking trail (450 metres), Lac Égan’s primitive campground includes 3 campsites located in a beautiful natural setting. Boats are not authorized on Lac Égan.
Period: From mid-May to mid-October.
