Welcome

Île Sainte-Marguerite Discovery and Visitor Centre: Welcome and information; exhibit; Boutique Nature; snack bar, washrooms and parking lot nearby.

Period: Year round. In the summer, the Visitors Centre is open every day from 9 AM to 5 PM.

During the winter, business hours for the Discovery and Visitors Centre are as follows: 9 AM to 4 PM on weekends from November 1 to December 14, 2008 and from Thursday to Monday from December 15, 2008 to March 31, 2009.

Boutique Nature

A vast array of souvenirs, clothing for adults and children, discovery products for young people, and outdoor articles is offered at the Boutique Nature. All profits are re-invested in the park to enhance its conservation. By choosing our Parcs Québec collections, you are joining us in the development of Québec's natural and cultural heritage.

Equipment Rental

You can rent equipment at the park's rental centre on Île Sainte-Marguerite (except in the winter when snowshoes are available at the Discovery and Visitor Centre).

Bicycles (single and tandem)
Cycling - Chariot carriers and trail-a-bikes for children
Sea kayaks (solo and tandem)
Canoes
Rabaska canoes (for 13 people)
Rowboats

Period: Open on weekends and civic holidays from May 10 to 19, 2008 and 7 days a week from May 20 to September 28, 2008. Certain equipment will be sold in October 2008. Ask about it.

Winter

Period: From December 1, 2008 to March 31, 2009

Food Services

A snack bar located at the Île Sainte-Marguerite Discovery and Visitor Centre offers light meals and snacks. During the winter period, visitors have access to vending machines.

Period : Open only on weekends and holidays from the mid-May to the beginning of June, and from the beginning of September to mid-October. From the beginning of June to early September, open 7 days a week.

Transportation Services

The transportation services are almost as entertaining as an actual visit to the park. Three water taxis allow you to access the park from unique Montréal and Longueuil (Vieux-Longueuil and Boucherville boroughs). Each water taxi offers you a route with unique viewpoints of the islands.
