Location

Parc national de l'Île-Bonaventure-et-du-Rocher-Percé is located at the tip of the Gaspé Peninsula. It can be reached via route 132 both from the north and south. Here is the distance in kilometres between major urban centers and the park:

Access and Operating Period

The park is open year round. To better plan your activities, please note the periods during which services are available in each sector.

Sector Service Seasons Route
Bonaventure Island sector From May 26 to October 13, 2008 Route 132. Located 3.5 km from Percé, the island can be reached via private water taxi (tour of the island or direct crossing)
Percé Rock sector From June 23 to September 26, 2008 Route 132. In Percé, take rue du Mont-Joli
Available only with guided excursions.
Historic Charles-Robin (Percé) From May 26 to October 13, 2008 Route 132. In Perce, take rue du Mont-Joli or rue du Quai
Note: Hours vary according to the period of the year.

Public Transit

  • The Gaspé regional airport is located 74 km from Percé. There is a car rental service at the airport.
  • The Pabok airport is located 35 km from Percé. A car rental service is located nearby.
  • Via Rail train serves L'Anse-à-Beaufils (10 km from Percé) 3 times a week.
  • Orléans-Express Coach Lines offers daily service to the region. Buses arrive and depart via both the north and south.
  • Private taxi companies also offer service in the town of Percé.

Access for Persons with Disabilities

The following places have been set up to facilitate access for persons who have difficulty moving about:

  • Historic Charles-Robin sector (Percé): Discovery Centre, Visitors Centre, Nature Boutique and Administrative Center
  • Bonaventure Island sector : Access to the services area only.
