Outdoor Activities - Winter

Break the routine this winter and escape to Parc national du Bic. Come and discover the famous landscape covered in white. Change of scenery guaranteed! Enjoy your favourite outdoor activity in a peaceful environment. The park's great winter activities are still one of Québec's best kept secrets

You can reach the departure point for the trails from the Rivière-du-Sud-Ouest entrance on Route 132, where you'll find a parking lot, and an Information Kiosk (entry fee, washrooms, food counter, outdoor equipment boutique, equipment rental).

Backcountry Skiing

Slide into your skis. Go exploring on over 19 km of trails (ungroomed) and discover less-travelled sectors.

Snowshoeing

Itineraries for everyone, from beginners to experts. Discover 28 km of marked trails and their breathtaking views of the St. Lawrence estuary.

Snow Walking

Discover the pleasure of winter walking. A total of 5 km of trails are mechanically groomed (from Wednesday to Sunday) so that you can practise your favourite activity...even in the winter! These multifunctional trails, which are covered in packed snow, are also ideal for taking a spin on a kicksled (for rent at the reception office).

Winter accomodations

Relais

Two warming huts allow hikers, skiers and showshoers to take a little break. The Porc-Épic warming hut is 900 metres from the reception area, and the Pékan is 4.5 km away.
