Outdoor Activities - Summer and Fall

Minibus Tour

Let yourself fall under the spell of the scenery, history and legends. Discover the park's most beautiful attractions: l'île aux Amours, Cap Caribou, Pointe aux Épinettes, Ferme Rioux and the Pic Champlain lookout, where spectacular views are yours. This tour lasts 2 hours and takes place every day at 4 PM and in the early evening.

Sea Kayaking

A kayak excursion on the St. Lawrence with Kayak Zodiac Archipel du Bic is simply magical. You will observe, with all the respect the occasion calls for, marine and bird life typical of the region. This experience at sunset will stay etched in your memory forever.
Period: From mid-May to mid-October, 2008

Sea Excursions (zodiac)

Kayak Zodiac Archipel du Bic offers you a way to discover the waters around Parc national du Bic safely and comfortably aboard a Zodiac (inflatable boat). You'll see Île Bicquette and Île du Bic, and learn about maritime history.
Period: From mid-May to mid-October, 2008

Boating

Watercraft are only allowed in recreational zones, namely Baie du Ha! Ha! and Havre-du-Bic. In this latter sector, a boatlaunch and a boat basin are available for small boats. All watercraft are prohibited in most of the marine preservation zone, Anse à l'Orignal cove, so as not to disturb wildlife.

Cycling

Over 15 km of trails, several of which are suitable for the entire family, traverse the park. These trails cross various environments, from meadows to the edge of the sea.
Period: From mid-May to the first snowfalls

Hiking

Twenty-five km of trails reveal the great beauty of this coastal park. Moreover, a long walking area has been set up along the shoreline. The lookouts of Saint-Fabien and Pic Champlain offer unique viewpoints to observe the movements of birds of prey in spring. L'anse à l'Orignal is one of the most interesting places to discover marine life (seals) and avian wildlife (common eider). Détour Nature offers guided hikes.
