Smallmouth bass
The combativeness of smallmouth bass is greatly appreciated by sport fishers: a smallmouth will leap out of the water like a rodeo rider. Unlike brook trout, smallmouth bass prefer warmer waters. Considering that these fish spawn in spring, smallmouth bass fishing usually begins by early summer.
