Be adventurous!

This summer, stay in a hut for a nature experience guaranteed to be extraordinary. Hikers, snowshoers and skiers have already caught on to the concept. Depending on their chosen route, there are trails leading between the huts or to a single hut. You're guaranteed year-round spectacular views over landscapes brimming with colour or blanketed in snow. Once you arrive at your destination, you'll relish the beauty and tranquility of your surroundings.

Different from a rustic shelter, which is reserved exclusively for groups, huts are community-type dwellings. You can reserve one or several sites, where you may be joined by other people depending on the hut's capacity. During the day, nature lovers may stop in for a break.

Some campgrounds feature wood and canvas prospectors' tents, a sure-fire way to enjoy a great vacation year round (same booking conditions apply as for huts).

  • Huts may be scattered throughout the campground, and be more or less close to the activities and services available.

Tips

  • Always check the detailed information sheet for the distance between your campsite and the reception desk.
  • What to bring: bed linens (sheets, blankets and pillowcases), bath towels and dish cloths, soap and shampoo, food and a cooler. Bring extra blankets and warm clothes in the fall and winter. And, to make sure your camping trip is a success, don't forget these things: sunscreen, hat, running shoes, raincoat, matches, change of clothes, first aid kit, binoculars, camera, insect repellent, etc. Other little luxuries that could make your trip even more enjoyable include wine glasses and a corkscrew, or a French-press coffee maker (such as a Bodum)!
  • Certain amenities, like grocery stores and gas stations, may be located quite far from your campsite.
