Everything you’re looking for is right here! At the edge of Lac Saint-Joseph, water activities steal the show. You might want to navigate with the family on board a canoe, kayak, pedal boat, rabaska canoe or stand up paddle board. The supervised beach with a lifeguard on duty, is perfect for making sand castles before or after a swim. An indoor pool, a sauna and a gym can be found at the hotel. In the summer, right next to the spa, you can also grab a deck chair and do some sunbathing on the adjacent deck!

At the heart of an 89 km² wooded playground, an aerial adventure awaits you on a circuit devised for children aged seven and over. To go on a family bike ride, you have direct access to the Jacques-Cartier-Portneuf bike path, or the nearby Chemin de la liseuse path which runs along the Jacques-Cartier River. A number of hiking trails are also on offer, including one on the periphery of the resort and big-wheel stroller accessible Lac Jaune trail. Take advantage of your visit to do some wildlife watching: beaver, white-tailed deer and a number of bird species abound.

To mix fun with exercise, there is the educational and humorous Super Labyrinth Inukshuk rally, as well as areas to play volley-ball. A team of monitors will offer all sorts of organized activities for both children and adults, such as geocache and archery.

Most of these activities are free of charge for accommodation package guests. Other visitors can purchase a daily passeport.

Bistro-bar Le Quatre-Temps offers a bistro menu featuring local gastronomical delights. The restaurant is open to all visitors and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner every day.

If you are looking to host a family reunion, the resort’s halls can receive and feast between 5 and 250 people. Only 30 minutes away from Old Quebec City, it’s a perfect place to hold a celebration!

In winter, the family is always more than welcome

Young and old alike will have a great time snow tubing and skating. You can also try your hand at ice fishing din Duchesnay Bay and experience the adventure of a dogsled ride. The hiking trail on the periphery of the resort and the Lac Jaune snowshoeing trail are also great places to take your kids for a sleigh ride. For cross-country skiing, there is family-friendly trail 1 and even a cross-country skiing school where children four years of age and over can take a course. A snack-bar, an equipment rental shop and a waxing room are all available at Horizon Pavilion during winter, along with an area for games and relaxation. Come in and warm up!
