Accessible and rewarding activities

There are few places on Earth that offer the possibility of contemplating over 200,000 sea birds from such close range. An impressive encounter for young and old alike! On the Colonies and Le chemin du Roy trails, pirates aged 5 to 12 are invited to take part in the Pirate Duval rally. Might they find the treasure hidden on the island? Several coves are accessible near the service area. You won’t find a more beautiful setting for a picnic or a restaurant stop!

On the premises of the colony of Northern Gannets: Who in your family will become siren or pirate? Near the picnic area, a punctured panel showing Pirate Duval and a mermaid await you. Insert your face to personify one or the other and then get someone to take your picture! The Relais des Fous is a particularly pleasant place for the whole family. Here you’ll find a wide selection of drinks and treats.

On the water: Île Bonaventure can be reached by boat, by way of a safe, entertaining, one-hour excursion. You’ll have an close-up opportunity to admire the beauties of the park: Percé Rock, Île Bonaventure and its colony of birds, as well as various marine mammals.

Les Colonies hiking trail is accessible by big-wheel stroller, enabling you to reach the incredible Northern Gannet colony. You may even do some hare, fox and northern harrier watching along the way.

Theatre events, activities with a focus on animals, a discovery rally – a wide range of discovery activities are available for the youngsters. And in case of bad weather, film and fun quiz. Take the time to visit the Le Chafaud Discovery Center exhibition as well.
