Summer
Hiking
Fir, birch, tundra. The vegetation changes over the space of just a few kilometres, leading to bare summits that have many tales to tell…listen to the stories of this vast natural paradise!
Mountain Biking
More than 100 km of forest roads take you into the heart of this beautiful territory - overflowing with lakes and rivers - great spots for a break. These are true havens of peace!
Trout Fly Fishing
Anglers can go catch-and-release fishing (trout), without a guide on three out of the six lakes of the Auberge’s territory Fishing access rights are included. Fishing licence and equipment are not included.

Winter
Alpine Touring
Take advantage of untouched snow, open underbrush, and vertical drops of more than 400m. A blend of backcountry and downhill skiing. The main characteristic is the binding used, which has a toe AND heelpiece. The heel is left free when climbing up (with skins*), hand clicked in when skiing down. This allows you to recreate the delicious feeling of downhill powder skiing without the chairlifts and crowds...

*Climbing skins: Synthetic skins, formerly seal skins

Meta skiing
You'll have access to the whole territory, from the highest summits to the deepest valleys. Half way between mountain skiing and snowshoeing, Meta skiing is characterized by a binding that can accommodate most insulated hiking boots, the heels of which are not attached. There is a climbing skin on a portion of the sole making it possible to climb slopes easily and to slow down during descents. This ski does not require any specific technique and is ideal for outings in a forest setting. Guaranteed pleasure!

Snowshoeing
Go at your own pace, and explore the forest, carpeted in abundant fresh snow. Peaks and deep valleys give up their secrets gradually… Keep your eyes peeled for tracks left by the animals that live in these enchanting places!
New !
Split board

Split board was designed to be able to separate into two skis to permit the climbing of mountains, similar to Telemark. The heel is not attached to the binding during the climb. When the person is ready for the descent, the two skis are once again assembled; the bindings are adjusted, like a snowboard.

Summer and Winter
Flora and Fauna Observation
Be on the lookout, you might have the chance to meet one of the three - or even all three - great Québec cervids: moose, caribou and white-tailed deer. The impressive density of moose (4.8 animals/km2) increases the probability of a special encounter. Look up and observe the many birds of prey that have chosen to live in the region (bald eagles, hawks, falcons, etc.). In this sea of mountains, the vegetation, ranging from fir forests to yellow birch to alpine tundra, is home to rare species that it is essential to protect. Beautiful discoveries await you!

Relaxation
The comfort of the Inn with its fine cuisine and its magnificent views of a steep-sided valley and barren summits more than 1,000 metres in altitude are sure to make you forget the worries of day-to-day life. Outside, the pure mountain landscapes will beckon you to partake in a veritable feast of the senses. The cool water of a brook, the gentle breeze on mountain ridges, the sound of Chute Hélène falls, and the observation of a moose or a caribou in its natural environment are among the many elements that promote relaxation without requiring undue physical effort on your part. All of these ingredients are sure to transport you far away from your daily routine and the hustle and bustle of urban life.
