Fish on the river!

You can wade fish in brooks and rivers in most wildlife reserves and several national parks. At certain sites, trails lead to excellent fishing spots along the rivers.

Important

How to reserve

To fish in brooks or rivers, you do not need a reservation. Simply go to the reception desk at the wildlife reserve or national park of your choice.

Notes

  • To go fishing, you must have a provincial fishing licence and the appropriate right of access pass.
  • There is a difference between the services and experiences offered in a national park, a wildlife reserve and a tourist resort. Find out more by visiting our establishments' Web pages! 

Tips

  • You will probably have to drive on gravel roads.
  • Certain sites may be far from amenities, such as supermarkets and gas stations.
